They say the first part of a journey is to know where you are going. So I decided I’m going to start small. My health. I plan to diet better, workout more, and take care of my body more so then I have been doing. This blog is going to be my way of documenting my change. I will post setbacks and accomplishments. I will post meals and workouts. I will post races and miles I’ve run. Everything I can think about that would help me see where my path is and maybe help another who is on a similar path.
Why do I want to change my life. I mean at 31 it may seem like a weird time to decide something is not going right. Well after having my daughter and soon having a son. I realized I may not be as healthy as I need to be. I may not read as much as I need to. I want to pass on good traits to my children and I know that starts with me changing. I am not saying I’m going to become a monk or anything. I’ll still enjoy my favorite foods and I’ll still play video games. But I’ll also enjoy a run with my family or a book. Just trying to find balance is key to life. That is all I want. To change for the better to bring balance to my life. Thank you for following this journey hopefully this will be enjoyable for you to see and I know I have some tough times ahead.
